Rock & Cody Rhodes' 4/8 WWE RAW segment draws insane numbers on YouTube

At WWE WrestleMania 40 on Sunday, Cody Rhodes dethroned Roman Reigns as undisputed Universal Champion and that was celebrated on RAW this week before The Rock also got in on the action. In fact, the segment has achieved incredible success on YouTube.

On this week's post-WrestleMania 40 edition of RAW, Cody Rhodes made a big appearance after being introduced by WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who opened the show by proclaiming Rhodes the leader of WWE's “Renaissance Era.” appointed. In front of over 20,000 fans in attendance, Rhodes entered the ring to a thunderous ovation.

Triple H revealed that WWE staff had prepared a special video package chronicling Rhodes' journey in WWE leading up to his remarkable title victory at WrestleMania 40. Emotions overwhelmed Rhodes as he watched the video, culminating in a warm embrace with Triple H as the crowd chanted “You deserve it” at him.

In his speech, Rhodes reflected on the path that led to his championship victory, expressed his love for his daughter and paid tribute to his opponent Roman Reigns and his impressive title reign. While rallying the audience, Rhodes was interrupted by the entrance of Roman's cousin and his WrestleMania Saturday opponent, The Final Boss, The Rock.

To the jeers of the Philadelphia crowd, The Rock congratulated Rhodes on his victory and expressed his desire to retain Rhodes' newly won championship. Rhodes and The Rock agreed to an exchange and briefly swapped titles, with The Rock hinting at a future confrontation before cryptically departing, leaving Rhodes and the audience curious about what lay ahead.

The aforementioned segment managed to pull in insane numbers on YouTube as the video garnered 1,110,808 views in 10 hours, which is nothing short of astounding and shows just how big The Rock's appeal continues to be.

A possible date for The Rock vs. Cody Rhodes has also been announced. We'll have to wait and see when The Great One finally returns to WWE television and continues his feud with The American Nightmare.
