This city in Delaware County is ideal for unmarried people

A Delaware County community is among the top 10 Philadelphia suburbs for unmarried singles, according to a recent report Movoto.

The ranking was determined using data from AreaVibes,, the U.S. Census and business listings.

Some of the singles-friendly criteria used include the unmarried population, the difference between male and female populations, and per capita singles amenities.

A surprising entry at number 4 is Drexel Hill.

It's one of the most affordable and walkable communities in the area with more than enough singles to meet and hang out with: the unmarried population is 51.17 percent.

The only downside is that there are fewer restaurants, arts and entertainment options per capita.

Still, there are plenty of places, like Chickie's and Pete's, to watch the big game.

What other regional cities in the area are great places for singles to hang out?

Closer to home is Ardmore, tied for second place with Audubon, New Jersey.

Bryn Mawr is number 6 on the list.

King of Prussia also made it into the top 10 at number 9.

After that, singles have to travel a little further for the best suburban singles experience.
