Bayhealth attended the Delaware State University Health Fair

Bayhealth participated in the Delaware State University (DSU) Health Fair to educate community members on health-related topics.

The event proved to be a success as community members and DSU students were able to evaluate the opportunities and services Bayhealth has to offer. DSU students studying nursing were able to speak with professionals in the field and gain insight into what their future at Bayhealth might look like.

“As a student here at Delaware State University, it has been incredibly eye-opening to see what is available in my community. “The feedback from healthcare professionals got me thinking,” said a DSU student.

Bayhealth Bariatric Coordinator Patricia Deer, MSM, BSN, BS, RN, CNOR, CBN, provided information on obesity and healthy weight management. It also included information about weight loss options available at Bayhealth.

Bayhealth's pastoral care team was also on site to educate community members about Bayhealth's pastoral care services.

Blood pressure measurements and information on disposable medication bags were provided by Bayhealth Education Department staff.
