Final Fantasy meets Stranger Things in this free Steam download and I'm obsessed

There's this one video game that I've had my eye on ever since I saw a trailer for it on Twitter about a year ago. So you can imagine my delight when I was recently looking for work on Steam and discovered the same game.

If you're the type of person who loves the team-based RPG connection of games like Final Fantasy, this might be the game for you. If you love the nostalgic, paranormal mystery of Stranger Things, this could be for you. If you want both Out of all these things, this is definitely the right game for you.

Bloomtown: Another Story “is a narrative-driven JRPG that combines turn-based combat, monster taming, and social role-playing in a seemingly pleasant 1960s Americana world,” reads the game’s Steam description. “Join Emily and her group of friends to save their cozy town from the demonic creatures living in the hearts of its residents!”

Yes, Bloomtown seems so “My Cup Of Tea” that it’s not even funny. Beautiful SNES-style pixel art, a creepy demonic presence in a small town, and colorful turn-based combat. I'm so into it. I'm honestly so fucking on it that you don't even know how on top of it I am.

Bloomtown Release is scheduled for later this year, but for now you can download and play a free demo to get a taste of the adventure. I recommend you do this. I've already devoured it and will probably play through it a few more times this weekend. Honestly, this game can't come soon enough. Did I mention how good I'm doing?

Oh and if you like the look of it Bloomtownmaybe you should go and play Earthbound. I'm sure most people reading this have probably heard of the classic Nintendo RPG, but I can't pass up an opportunity to try and get people to play it Earthbound.
