Knock out! Valentin Moldavsky overwhelms Ante Delija with violent blows | PFL San Antonio

Valentin Moldavsky made an emphatic statement in his Professional Fighters League (PFL) debut as he knocked out Ante Delija in the very first round of the PFL San Antonio last night (Thursday, April 4, 2024), making it against the heavyweight champion made 2022 look easy.

From the jump, Moldavsky – the former interim Bellator heavyweight champion – made it clear he was going to apply pressure by getting down on the towering Croatian.

Early in the opening round, Delija let his fists go and had some success, but Moldavsky continued to push forward and unload combinations that hurt the big man. Midway through the first frame, Moldavsky opened up Delija and then attacked his opponent with a vicious right hand strike that severely injured him.

Smelling blood, the big Russian pounced and fired a barrage of vicious punches that left the referee no choice but to stop the fight and end Delija's five-fight winning streak. Moldavsky quickly picked up six points in the heavyweight division, a good start to his run for the $1 million jackpot at the end of the season.

Additionally, Team Fedor has some standing over Team CroCop in their historic rivalry.
