Warriors' Steph Curry epically trolls Tari Eason with perfect movie reference – NBC Sports Bay Area & California

Nobody gets the last laugh like a little Steph Curry.

Before the Warriors' 133-110 victory over the Rockets on Thursday at Toyota Center, Houston forward Tari Eason made headlines for publicly mocking Golden State, as the two teams were at one point separated by a game in the Western Conference standings. The Rockets are threatening , overtaking the Warriors for the final spot in the play-in tournament.

Citing the classic 1979 film “The Warriors,” Eason quoted a line in which actor David Patrick famously challenges Kelly: “Warriors, come out to play.”

The Warriors, of course, came to play on Thursday and pretty much destroyed Houston's hopes of securing a spot in the postseason.

With the Warriors leading 126-104 with 1:48 left in the fourth quarter, Curry, seen with three bottles on his fingers, reenacted the famous scene from “Warriors” that Eason referenced.

When Curry spoke to reporters after the game, he was asked if he intentionally clicked three empty bottles on the bench, referencing the film.

“Yes absolutely. I’m having fun with it,” Curry said.

As many in the NBA have learned over the years, it is never wise to mock the Petty King.

He never forgets.
