One can understand why the two could be confused with each other. The two have been associated with the UFC for a very long time. While White has been at the helm for a long time, Rogan has been one of the staunchest supporters. So what's it like to know the difference?

Joe Rogan recently appeared on a new episode of his podcast, the JRE MMA Show #154 was a laugh for many reasons. One of them was Rogan and the gang discussing Dana White's embarrassing moment while sitting in for Sage Steele's podcast.

The UFC CEO was mistaken for Joe Rogan and addressed as such. The clip became instantly famous and was all anyone could talk about. That's all there is left to talk about. Here's Rogan's perspective on the whole podcaster situation.

“People call me Dana, I’ve been called Dana before. . . I think she just made a mental mistake. If you're going to do a podcast and interview someone, especially if you haven't done a lot of them before and it's a high-profile thing, do Dana White. You're always thinking about what to say. . .”

Joe Rogan also admitted that the podcast host handled the situation really well by quickly admitting her mistake and leaving it in the released episode instead of cutting it out. “She handled it right too. She kept it there. She didn't edit it out. It's funny. It's just a mistake. I did it all the time. It happens. People shit.” Another interesting incident came up in the same conversation.

Din Thomas is a former UFC fighter who last fought in the promotion's cage in 2008. He has since retired from the Octagon, but can't escape the one moment when he, too, was mistaken for someone else. Just like Joe Rogan and Dana White.

Thomas revealed that Khabib Nurmagomedov, the former lightweight champion, once told him that he had defeated one of Nurmagomedov's teammates. A confused Thomas couldn't understand a word of it until Nurmagomedov revealed that his teammate understood Josh Thomson.
