Sergei Bobrovsky makes 30 saves, Panthers defeat Senators 6-0


OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) — Sergei Bobrovsky made 30 saves for his fifth shutout of the season, Matthew Tkachuk had a goal and two assists and the Florida Panthers beat the Ottawa Senators 6-0 on Thursday night.

Nick Cousins, Dmitry Kulikov, Anton Lundell, Sam Bennett and Sam Reinhart also scored, helping Florida improve to 48-24-5. Panthers coach Paul Maurice finished fourth on the NHL wins list with 865 wins.

Joonas Korpisalo allowed four goals on 17 shots for Ottawa. Anton Forsberg fired two of 14 shots in relief.

With Florida leading 5-0 early in the third period, Tkachuk scored on the power play by knocking in Aleksander Barkov's shot.

Florida extended its 2-0 lead with three goals in the second period.
