Questions and answers: What do you like best about Delaware? “What I like most about Delaware is the connectivity and collaboration – we are a small state that excels at working together to make a difference.”

With the resignation of longtime Delaware Market President Nick Lambrow earlier this year, M&T Bank turned to Mark Hutton to take over. Hutton was first recruited by M&T Bank in 2008 to open a small commercial bank branch in the major financial market and later helped lead the acquisition of Wilmington Trust, which brought M&T to the forefront of Delaware's banking sector. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking in Delaware, one of the bank's most important internal functions. Now he leads the bank with the largest brick-and-mortar presence here, a large technology center and more than a thousand employees.
