Marcus Harris is heading to Tennessee

Four-star 2025 wide receiver Marcus Harris (Santa Ana, Calif.) is currently on campus visiting the Tennessee Volunteers.

Wide receiver from Mater Dei High School Marcus Harris is not afraid to leave California. Official visits to Alabama, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas are planned for the talented pass catcher this summer. The closest destination in terms of distance would be the Ducks, whose campus is a 14-hour drive from Mater Dei.

Harris made his first trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, in January for their Junior Day event. He scheduled an official visit with the Vols for the weekend of June 6, but decided he needed to check out the campus before the trip. Harris posted a picture of Neyland Stadium to his X account on Thursday afternoon, marking his second time at Rocky Top.

According to On3 Industry Rankings, he is the No. 152 prospect in 2025. Harris recorded 43 receptions for 644 yards and six touchdowns in his junior season; In his second year, he averaged the same yardage on 25 receptions but managed to score 12 touchdowns. Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre likes Harris, as do several Tennessee coaches. We'll see how we compete in this fight, but mutual interest is increasing.
