The 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship will take place April 3-14 at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, New York. The United States enters the competition as defending champions after defeating Canada 6-3 last year.

Each team plays four games against the other teams in their group. The top four teams in each group advance to the playoff round, where they compete in a single-elimination tournament.
